5 am wake up call

No no not by a lovely phone call or e-mail from hubby. ( insert sad face) by a cranky 2 year old trying to escape through his closet door. For some reason his awesome re-chargable night light didn't recharge and was completely dark. Poor guy, the closet is not your door. And after that he did not want to go to sleep. Supernanny you have it all wrong. If you continue to put them back in there bed they don't always STAY in there big boy bed with tons of comfy covers and Mr. Turtle and little mickey..
My sweet little Emma. You must get that from your daddy. Every time I get my phone you know to do your rotten face.
It was great to see my friend this morning. I call him "Joe". Good morning Joe!
I am loving Hazelnut creamer. It wakes me up
How can you still be awake.. I pray the naps continue to be in your past present and FUTURE!! ;)

*sigh*.. Deployment rings stink. At least its in weeks vs. Days. That was horrible to look at.
Hope everyone is having a Happy Hump day!!

Through my husbands eyes

For those of you who don't know my husband "Big Daddy" is a photographer for the navy. Since becoming a Chief he hasn't had much opportunities to take photos. Till now. Deployments bring challenges for most, however I believe that for hubby he tends to get more creative. I love it! I love going on navynewsstand and seeing his pictures. Im so proud.

Colors

Colors was played late tonight. 8:01pm Am I missing something? Hmm just an observation =>)

Heart broken

Today I'm heart broken. My heart aches for my husband and my children. My husband is gone his final deployment. I have to keep telling myself it's our last one and to breathe. No matter how many times we've overcome this obstacle its always gut wrenching. paralyzing reality that slaps you in the face.

I wrote that the morning he left. @3:45 in the morning. Flash forward to today, Easter Sunday. I have been to the Doctors for my oldest daughter who has/had strep along with the flu. And when 1 person gets the flu WE ALL get the flu. We also spent a lovely 5 hours in the ER per my PCM's request that we get an antibiotic injection for my oldest. Why you ask. Because I could not break my daughters fevers! 103 and climbing. Scary stuff. Do you know what can happen with a child who has a high fever. I wish I didn't. Today is the first day since monday she hasn't had a fever. Emma had a fever all day yesterday and now Conner woke up with a fever this morning. What goes around comes around full circle in the Robbins nest. Someone shoot me.

 Can you tell there related?

Thankfully we live in a day and age where my husband and i can send videos because without his face and voice I just might not have made it

This too shall pass.....
